The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting the home and work life of all Australians, including residents at Ingenia Rental communities. 

Our onsite management teams have been working hard to ensure the health and safety of residents, while also ensuring that life carries on with as little interruption as possible. 

What have we been up to? 

A safer place to live

Ingenia Rental has always been committed to providing residents with a home to enjoy living in as part of a community that’s safe, clean and friendly.

Our onsite teams have been proactive to make sure we are minimising the COVID-19 risks for residents. This includes a range of new health and safety related procedures for the cleanliness of community amenities, displaying informational signage/display and encouraging healthy social distancing.

Ingenia Rental is an independent living community, so within their own homes our residents retain control and access to way they can follow the preventative guidelines recommended by health authorities. And our onsite management teams and their neighbours are always nearby for support and friendship.

A safer place to work

The COVID-19 virus has meant that our teams have changed the way they work. As an employer, Ingenia has been proactive in providing guidance to each team member about how to follow the latest health guidelines within our communities.

Our onsite management teams have new procedures in place regarding how they perform their duties. This includes social distancing, personal cleanliness/hygiene and encouraging our teams to monitor their own wellness closely.

A great place to be

We believe that by choosing to be part of an Ingenia Rental community, our residents are more comfortable, healthier and safer. Even under the challenging circumstances of COVID-19, it’s a great place to be.

Our residents and onsite teams are making sure Ingenia Rental communities maintain a strong sense of community spirit. We see smiles from residents and hear people showing concern for neighbours who may be less able or confident.

It’s wonderful to see how this COVID-19 challenge has proven that our community residents respect and show concern for each other. This strong community spirit will help us all to feel safer (but not alone) in the days and weeks to come. 

Keeping things flexible

Finding new ways to adapt to the changing circumstances which arise from COVID-19 is vital. That’s why Ingenia Rental management and onsite teams are closely monitoring the guidance of health authorities and encouraging all residents to remain positive and make sensible choices.
